Chapter Philanthropy

Phi Mu supports Children's Miracle Network Hospital as our national philanthropy, and Chi Chapter supports CMN Hospitals by hosting a variety of philanthropy events throughout the year!

Meals for Miracles: Every fall, we host Miracle Week, a week full of different events to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. We start off the week with a number of profit shares around Columbia. With these, we partner with local restaurants so we can eat some delicious food and a portion of the money that we spend will go to CMN Hospitals on our behalf. The week ends with a delicious late night dinner where we serve unlimited mac and cheese and chicken nuggets.

Mizzouthon: This 13.1 hour dance marathon is put on every spring and each year, we compete for the miracle cup and raise money for the MU Women’s and Children’s Hospital, our local beneficiary. We are 3-time Miracle Cup champions as the Greek chapter that raised the most money and earned the most points during the event by earning spirit sticks, cutting our hair, and hanging out with the incredible miracle kids.

Cheesin’ for the Children: Our spring late night dinner raises money by serving unlimited t-ravs, nachos, cheese fries and cheesecake all night! Our house is completely decorated and will be open to everyone to come, listen to music, and eat delicious food. We also participate in more profit shares throughout Columbia for Cheesin' Week.
